Crutchfield recommend this model after my definitive speakers model aw650 blew. I was very disappointed, but I'm happy with these. All I wish they the bass of the aw650. So far great sound.

It was highly recommended by Abt over Bose and Niles Audio. They sound great. A little imposing but Black is very forgiving and invisible at night.

What kind of receiver do I need to run these properly I am usuing them for my back yard... I am running 2 ceiling speakers inside and these 2 outside what do I need

Love these speakers. Have four of them outside now and they sound great, even when you crank up the volume. Given it is outdoors you would not expect a home stereo sound but we are very satisfied.

Hung the speakers up in our shop about 22 feet above the floor and in a very large area. The sound is amazing. I recommend these speakers for anybody wanting good quality, design and sound.

Klipsch is of course known for making high-efficiency speakers with horn tweeters. Whether or not that concept pays off indoors, where high-powered amps are common, is a subject of debate among audiophiles. But it definitely pays off outdoors.

I bought these speakers to bring music to the patio and around the pool. I'm not pushing much power but these speakers perform really well. Good lows without distorting and crisp clear highs. I have a sub hooked up for good low end thump.
