Very Very Very slow.....

I wish I would've spent the extra 5 bucks and got write speeds of >60MB/s like the other Kingston drive I just purchased. Live and learn I guess

Pros: Holds data; Transfers data

Cons: I couldn't get it to transfer data faster than 8MB/s ; Really! Using a SSHD to a 3.0 usb connection, to a supposedly 3.0 USB drive

Stable, Strong, Speedy

Really these are nice USB Flash drives, they come pre-formatted to FAT32, and work straight out the box. They are USB 3.0 natively, but will scale down to USB 2.0 and below ports, so I've used these on all my machines.

My Kingston DataTraveler G4 seems to be a bit different. 130MB/s sequential read 20MB/s sequential write 12MB/s random 4k read (3000 IOPS) variable but generally slow random 4k write that can reach up to 1.7MB/s (up to 440 IOPS) Results above is on USB 3.0 This review was modfied by poster @...

Decent read speed; Cheap when on sale

Slow write speed

Kingston Data Traveller 150 64GB review

This is a good option for the regular traveller that is pushed for space but you can get more for your moolah with an external drive

Good capacity; Nice size

Expensive

Kingston HyperX Fury 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive

One thing I have learned recently is no matter how true a stereotype may be, there will always be some outliers or people who do not fit this description. Case in point, last Friday I went Black Friday shopping, hoping to find some good deals.

Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ (8GB)

The Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ puts government-grade security onto a flash drive for the masses, with 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption for an extremely reasonable price ($14 street for 8GB).

Professional-grade encryption in a consumer flash drive; Low price per GB.

Not Linux compatibile

Fair Enough In Speed

low in speed, low in price. this is very true with this kingston memory card. this card is of class 4 so the price of this memory card is also less. if you are gonna have class 10 memory card with this much of space, add additional 500 bucks in your budget.

More Room & Mobile

I ran out of room on my 16GB stick. I needed something with mobility that I wouldn't accidentally leave behind. This unit has no moving parts. Translation: less things to go wrong and break. It has more room to carry the videos I shoot and now I'm thinking I should have gone for the 64GB stick.

Well-packaged drive (appearance, materials) and seems to work well. Overall excellent value for money for an 8GB flash memory drive.
