Kids will love it. Fanboys, get over yourselves!!

I was initially hesitant to pick this game up based on on-line reviews but have been pleasantly surprised. This game is not intended to be a fully immersive, interactive "Star Wars experience" so, fanboys, sit down and pout because the world doesn't revolve around you.

Fun for both kids and adults playing together; My kids love it; My 9 yo son saved money to help pay for it and loves it; My 4 yo daughter loves to dance and it is something they actually enjoy doing together; Adults have fun at it too

Not an "immersive" Star Wars experience; Combat is repetitive and demonstrates the real limitations of the technology

Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360 review

The Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360 banishes the controller, but at the expense of precision. Updated 4 November 2010

Kinect Star Wars (X360) - Review

Since the inception of Star Wars , fans have pined for the chance to feel like they're wielding a lightsaber in real combat, using their skills with the powerful blade to cut down waves of enemies and duel powerful foes. Finally, after 35 years... we get to keep waiting.

One of the much better Kinect games!

After all the mixed criticism about this game, I was a little worried about buying it. Turns out, this game is actually really good. Playing as a jedi was extremely good, and using a lightsaber and the force is very cool although at times there is a small lag, but nothing too big.

Kinect Review

Even since I took a computer science class on hand gesticulations for user interfaces ( NERD!!! ), I knew that they would be the wave of the future, and that video game consoles would be among the earliest adopters of the controller-free interactions that they would provide.

Full-body motion controller; Great for workouts and parties; Slick-looking; Voice controls; It's made of

Lag and occasionally unresponsive; Hover-and-hold interface takes too long; Controller is usually faster; Can I sit down and play; please; Just give it time

Kinect Star Wars Review

I've gone on record before as stating I didn't initially have high hopes for Kinect Star Wars, although my expectations rose after getting hands-on with the game again at CES 2012.

Star Wars Kinect

Rejoice, for you can now wield lightsabers and the power of the force with nothing but subtle (and not so subtle) movements of your body. Star Wars Kinect immerses you in a mythical universe packed with jedis, padawans, wookies, battle droids, and a host of familiar faces straight from George Lucas'...

X360 Kinect Review - 'Kinect Star Wars'

Harnessing the controller-free power of Kinect for Xbox 360, Kinect Star Wars allows fans to physically experience training as a Jedi, using the Force and battling with a lightsaber. Players can live out the ultimate Star Wars fantasy, no controller required.
