Kinect Sports Island Freedom - Terrible Game

Bought this as an impulse buy & boy do i regret it, I have played several Kinect games & this is by far the worst one that i have tried. Presentation is sloppy, graphics are average at best but all this could easily be forgiven if the gameplay was good but it's not.

Awful

I absolutely hate this game. The other Kinect titles I got today worked great, but this game doesn't seem able to recognize where my hands are. It's absolutely awful, and I can't believe the salesperson recommended it. I've never been so disappointed in a game.

When only one out of the ten events featured in your game is any good, you pretty much have a disaster on your hands. That is pretty much Deca Sports Freedom in a nutshell. It boasts a nice variety of events, but the execution is so poor in almost all of them, and the menus to navigate between them...

: Archery; variety of sports

Test Kinect Sports

Light on instructions but 13 fun sports to play.

Parents need to know that Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection is a series of 13 mini-games that require the Kinect motion control system to play. (The game will allow the use of a 360 controller, but the game is intended to be used with the Kinect.

Doesn't live up to Season 1

The sports are better than Season 1, and the graphics and little touches are well done but as far as being realistic, it loses points there. For Tennis, I could flinch and it would have an amazing play, darts accuracy is even further off.

Kinect Sports review

Featuring six individual and team-based sports ranging from athletics to bowling, Kinect Sports is a predictable launch title for Microsoft's new motion-sensing peripheral. The singleplayer experience is a little flat but with one or more friends, the game proves entertaining.

Hugely enjoyable party mode; high-energy full-body sports; replays

Occasional motion capture issues; dull single player; large required room for play

Kinect Sports: Season 2 Review

If you have managed to stay away from the barrage of motion sport games from the last few years than Kinect Sports: Season 2 may be for you. If you've already had your fill of motion tennis, motion golf and motion baseball however, there isn't much of a reason to pick this one up.

Kinect Sports Season Two review

Kinect Sports was one of the stand out titles of the Kinect launch last year. Yes, it was the sort of clichéd Wii style game I was dreading would be launched alongside Kinect, a dreaded proposition surely for Microsoft executives to face, their expensive new toy compared to the sub-HD, child...

Golf is brilliant; Voice recognition; Challenge mode a big highlight

Darts is abysmal; American football is diluted
