How time flies. It seems like just a couple of months ago that we reviewed Kingstons first Cloud headset but in fact it was July… thats ages in the technology world. We guess thats why they are now launching a second model and today we cover it in our Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 Review.

When it comes to putting the HyperX Cloud II to the test it proved itself quite well. The comfort of this headset is up there with the best. The extra included velour cup cushions proved to be the best feeling and throughout testing we even felt as if it wasn't on.

In the summer of 2014, Kingston's HyperX team released their rebranded QPad QH-90 headset called ' Cloud '. With a refreshed appearance, added details, finishing touches at an aggressive price point, it was well received and has become a firm favourite.

The realm of gaming headsets is populated by many dubious quality and overpriced offerings shielded by the 'gaming' facade. The need for prospective buyers to do some research before they buy is particularly important for a gaming headset.

The Kingston HyperX Cloud II is a brilliant headset as it packs in plenty of bang for your buck and is well priced compared to its rivals. There are plenty of extras in the well presented box too, its mic is detachable and it works great with your PS4 and Xbox One.

There is no better headphone at this price point other than HyperX Cloud II that gives a stunning virtual 7.1 channel surround sound experience.

We've seen a lot of gaming headsets coming out from companies that were not audio experts to begin with, such as Corsair, BitFenix and Thermaltake. Kingston did the same with the HyperX Cloud gaming headset and it was a smashing success.

Introduction HyperX, a sub-division of Kingston, hit the market strong over the few last years. They have created a name that has been praised by many and they have taken a big leap into PC Peripherals and Accessories arena.
