The is attractive for many reasons, including its modular and comfortable design, premium build quality, great 7.1 surround and stereo sound, and affordable price. It's also great for laptop gamers since it obviates the need for a dedicated sound card, and overall is one of the best headsets I've...
Honestly, I would kind of recommend this if they fixed the convenience issues with this thing. They're a good pair of headphones but the cord winding has got to go. Please fix this.
I absolutely love these headphones; I love the surround sound feature and overall they're pretty comfortable and get the job done
The cord is by far the biggest piece of garbage I have ever had the displeasure to experience; Retail store headphones have a far better cord because these tend to wind and twist extremely bad.
Important note: This review has had significant alterations made since I first posted it. Upon listening to them again post review and comparing them to the HD 600s (which I will use as my reference), I felt that parts of my review overstated traits/aspects of this headset and some impressions were...
Comfort; value for money; sound quality; build quality; customer service

Introduction HyperX, a sub-division of Kingston, hit the market strong over the few last years. They have created a name that has been praised by many and they have taken a big leap into PC Peripherals and Accessories arena.
Excellent comfort ability; Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound; USB Sound Card; Variety of Colors Available
Long cables
The original HyperX Cloud is one of the best headsets on the market (FACT), the question is with the HyperX Cloud II has HyperX made a great headset an amazing headset Unfortunately the answer to that is no…
son very happy with them - only passing comment would be that the microphone could be smaller and fit a little bit more securely - doesn't take away from the fact that headsets are very good and comfortable
I brought this as being a big man, I have big ears, and this headset is extremely comfortable and sounds great. My only complaint is the 7.1 mixer does not work for PS4. Ok with mac and pic. Other than that fantastic quality of build and sound. One big happy customer.
Last year I called the HyperX Cloud "one of the best sub-$100 gaming headsets I've ever used." Apparently not content with that, Kingston went ahead and released the HyperX Cloud II this year--a little pricier, a little more refined. "Little" being the operative word here.
Comfy, and all around amazing. Build quality is great, they sound great 10/10 :)
