We bought this to replace a previous HP printer. The printer itself is great. It's much bigger than a standard printer but it does lots and was simple enough to set up. However, ours did not come with 12 months Instant Ink, only four. We are still fighting Littlewoods to sort this issue out.

I would just like to say that I have placed a few orders from Printerland and everytime I am met with polite informative, enthusiastic staff. They in my opinion give you the best deals and will beat any price quote. I order and as long as in stock is with me the very next day.

I bought this a couple of years ago and have had nothing but problems- would have returned it but it started acting up right after the 90 days. So it's my nemesis now... beyond frustrating when I try & use it and receive errors, or it just stops printing, or the update makes it even worse.

I have been buying HP's all in one printers for many years. This by far is the best.It has features that make it easy to set up and use. The quality is unsurpassed. I also like the Ink program that you subscribe to at a very reasonable price and the printer orders it for you when it is running low.

I'm replacing a Pro 6830 which by clicking on the desktop icon a full page of options e.g. scan, maintenance , ink levels etc came up on the PC screen not fiddling about on the tiny printer touch screen of the 8710 which is not at my desk.

Easy to install. I also have an older model. The only difference in the two is the model numbers. I love this machine. It is wireless. You can print from any room in the home. I also have the hpinstantink. I don't have to worry about running out of ink or worry about leaving my home to purchase ink.

A colleague had an earlier version that he liked and I thought was a color laser because it was so fast. I was surprised at my purchase that it's an inkjet. It is very fast and efficient and fits all of my needs for my home office. Another great printer from HP.

Very fast and excellent print quality and ease of use

This printer is a vending machine that has your credit card and won't give it back; You never Own the Ink Cartridges; This printer phones home and reports your usage and Charges your credit card when Big Brother thinks you need ink; It quits printing if you try to use it off line a lot.

This printer is excellent it can do duplex scanning and print double sided could not ask for a better machine.

We operate a small non-profit but put a lot of pressure on our copier. Upgrading to the OfficeJet Pro 8710 was the right move for us. Wireless is essential. We can use it from either of two offices without a wire in site. We needed an efficient paper feed for scans and this unit filled the bill.
