I should have known better simply because of the price. Normally I check the ratings on items before I buy them--this time I screwed the pooch. The printer works as long as you never need to scan or fax anything. Amazon denied my refund request--so now I'm stuck with this piece of garbage.

High cost of ownership

I purchased this printer in June 2012 and have replaced the colour cartridges twice, despite printing less than 20 colour pages. The colour cartridges dry out and become unusable. If any cartridges are removed and not replaced the printer becomes a brick. I DO NOT recommend this dud.

Worst Printer Ever

I've had this for a week & I'll be returning it for something else. It has so many error messages for problems that don't exist. For example, "paper jam in ADF" when I've not even put a document near it.

Drinks ink, no two-sided printing

For the amount I paid for it, I would have expected something with much nicer quality. If it cost far less than it did, I wouldn't have been as disappointed.

It has a lot of features; decent scanning quality; pretty standard stuff for this class of printer

I put new cartridges in a couple of months ago, barely do any printing, and it is already fussing about low ink; Also, I clicked the print button literally FIVE MINUTES AGO, and it is still doing its head cleaning routine; The print quality is OK, but nothing to write home about.

Find a printer that cartridges are cheaper!

Like most printers - absolute rip off with cartridges.... Cheap to start and then super expensive - AND the machine wont accept other brand cartridges.

Once a Printer, now a Paper Weight

After 20 months of light use, printer was stored for a few weeks during home renovations. When it was returned to service, it was toast. A dreaded "Ink System Failure". All HP's recomdations were to turn it off, in every concevable manor. It can not be fixed.

Easy to Use; Easy to Set Up

Quality; when it's dead it's dead

Worst printer ever used

Purchased this printer after owning numerous HP printers before. This thing never works. It is always giving errors do to paper, feeding, jamming and other issues. The ink does not last very long at all. The scan feature is on only option that seems to work each time.

Product is the worst printer I have ever owned

I have owned many printers in my life. Some expensive and some cheap. What I expect out of an All -in- One id for it to scan even if it needs a Cyan color cartridge. It holds you hostage. You change the cartridge after going to the office products store and you change it and bam!

There no positives

You cannot print or scan if any ctaridge is empty; You change and then it says another is empty

very noisy

The only good thing about this printer is wireless. Super noisy, as if I'm having a tractor in my room. Look like a high-end product, but don't let the look fools you. Design is unnecessarily bulky and takes up too much space Regardless all the advertising about toner-economical feature, the printer...
