Best/Worst Laptop I've Ever Used!

It's fast, it's pretty, it's tiny (which I like), it does almost everything right, except... It really won't go to sleep for me, even after being worked over by an hp technician. So it just seems to eventually turn itself off and therefore is constantly being rebooted (though it is doing better as...

Sleek and sexy laptop with great features

This would be a great laptop if it was dependable. At 13mos the SSD HD went out. Hp was kind enough to send me a usb drive to reload the O.S but it still cost me 100.00 for the HD. Next up at appx 18 mos the laptop just would no longer turn on.

HP EliteBook x360 G2 Review

A quality laptop that isn't just for business.

Attractive design; Lots of security features; Good performance; Decent battery life

Slower SSD on this model; Stylus costs extra in UK

HP 12.5″ Elitebook x360 1020 G2 (review)

The HP 12.5″ Elitebook x360 1020 G2 is the smaller sibling the HP 13.3" Elitebook x360 1030 G2. Both are amazing – I bought the 1030! SureView protects data from prying eyes. It will reduce the battery life by 37% when used.

12.5"Sure View screen for privacy

Thunderbolt 3 is great; would have loved one USB-A as well

HP EliteBook X360 G2 Review

The HP EliteBook x360 G2 is a killer business laptop with an outstanding keyboard and speedy performance.

Elegant design and superior build quality; Excellent keyboard and touchpad; Strong business features and value; Solid performance; 3-year standard warranty

A little expensive; Dim 1080p screen with only average quality; Uncomfortable heat exhaust port

Business travelers who want to save ounces-and save sensitive company data from the casual glances of an airline seatmate-will be intrigued by HP's premium compact convertible.

Bright display with built-in privacy screen; Snappy keyboard with Skype controls; Light; well-crafted chassis

Privacy screen subtracts readability and battery life

HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2 (i7-7600U, FHD Sure View) Convertible Review

The EliteBook 1020 G2 is a great example of the merging between sleek consumer designs and feature-heavy business configurations. It's inarguably faster and thinner than the 1020 G1, but not without some cutbacks that longtime EliteBook owners may lament.

very lightweight and portable; attractive Spectre-inspired 2-in-1 design, relatively strong base and lid considering the size; MIL-STD certification, long list of unique above-OS and under-OS security features, extremely bright display backlight; good outdoor visibility, respectable surface...

Sure View interferes with contrast and colors; not as effective for browsing or graphic-editing work, no dedicated mouse keys or TrackPoint nub; WACOM pen not included in base packaging, narrower viewing angles for optimum brightness due to presence of Sure View panel, no integrated RJ-45, VGA,...

HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2

One of the best business/consumer crossover laptops, the HP EliteBook x360 takes the lead on security with a useful on-demand privacy filter.

Includes HP SureView, a built-in privacy screen; Slim, 360-degree design with plenty of RAM and storage

Battery life is merely OK, and the security screen leaves the display feeling a little muted; The processor is a last-gen model and the touchpad hitches occasionally

HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2

On the other hand, the SureView privacy filter on the 1020 G2 could be worth the battery life sacrifice for the peace of mind that it offers in certain scenarios, especially for employees who are constantly traveling.

Screen comes with built-in privacy filter; Thin and light; Intel Core i7 can handle most business computing tasks

Privacy filter noticeably reduces battery life and degrades screen quality

HP EliteBook x360 G2

Want a high-quality business laptop? Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon has set the benchmark, but this is a fiercely contested area of the market, with multiple manufacturers eager to lock down lucrative enterprise contracts.

Solid performance; Outstanding battery life; Great keyboard and trackpad; Optional pen is a useful accessory; Comprehensive security; Three-year warranty

Display could be brighter; Not great in tablet mode; Limited UK configuration options
