I bought 2 chrome books in February of this year. One has died! It doesn't open, it doesn't charge, the Amazon warranty was for 30 days, and the tech support expired in May! I would NOT recommend this product or buying it through Amazon! Now I will pursue this issue with HP or have to buy another!

My 10th grade son needed a simple machine to take notes, write reports and other schoolwork - NOT to watch movies, Skype with friends and whatnot. He needs a digital typewriter.

I purchase this item for my mother who is not a very computer literate but she loves it and it was very easy for her to understand and work with.

Absolutely LOVE this laptop. It is small and compact. Great for traveling. The batter holds charge for an impressive amount of days without additional charge. Worth way more than advertised more. Would definitely buy again

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loved it, but two days later the display started to play up, going black for two seconds, then back on again for 2 seconds, which I believe to be a problem with the screen itself. Because of this, it is unusable. I will be returning it.

I have already recommended this Chromebook. I was lucky to get a good sale price at the time at Newegg. I would purchase it again but as time goes on technology changes and five years down the road HP and Chromebook will have something that's improved.

This is my first Chromebook; It seems to work well for my purposes; It is convenient for checking and clearing e-mail, looking at my accounts online, googling info while watching the evening news; The 11.6" display is just right for a small laptop.

No cons yet; This is a review of functionality not durability or longevity; Barely had a week; Hope it lasts longer than my tablet (five years, on/off button failed)

"Wow" this HP Chromebook 11 G5 Laptop does it all. Along with the price you shouldn't pass this offer up. 16 GB Hard Drive, 4 GB Memory you couldn't ask Santa for a better deal. Even the reindeers are tooten their horns. I gotta go now! I'm off to Office Depot.

This is a great machine for the quick email and web surfing we need it for. Boots up quick, good battery life and easy connectivity. I like HP stuff!
