This laptop is fast and with 16 GB of RAM it has a lot of guts. I havent really stressed it, but I have noticed that the fans get going without much effort. It can sound a little like an engine revving up to take off and is distracting. Other than that, Im very happy.

A month & half into using this brand new laptop it's showing this message on start up, "The system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly. Continued operation is not recommended and may cause unpredictable behavior that could result in random shutdown, data loss or possible...

Very good laptop at this price range... The keyboard is not backlit... The graphics memory is 256MB which is not mentioned... the overall performance is good... build quality is awesome... display quality is also good...

not sure what the previous reviewer was on about , purchased this hp lap top from pc world due to an accident with a cup of coffee with my old one , dead easy to set up and does everything i was expecting it to do , great value for money considering my old one cost nearly twice the price

IMO, BEST budget laptop. I bought this lappy to semi compliment my HP DV6 bought in 2008-09 and still going strong, but WINDOWS Vista, yes Vista is outdated and not supported anymore.

The power adapter was not Working.....Though The seller help to get support from hp service centre of Sylhet, but it was a lengthy process.

SLLLLOOOOOWWWWWW! Returning. Installed Google Chrome and Avast. Pages would take easily a minute to load. Reset to factory thinking maybe the Avast and the trial version of McAffee were fighting and slowing things down to a crawl. Even in this "new" state, pages would take almost a minute to load.

So far i have had this for 2 hours - i hate it... slow start up - slow response when typing and clicking on things - my previous laptop was hp and i had ignored previous reviews on here - the only good thing about this laptop is the sound quality which is definately an A+ its just a shame the rest...

This laptop is aesthetically pleasing, fast processing (not for gaming, but for work and online), and decidedly touch screen! The internal components that would make for a fast computer combined with a touch screen interface at such a low price was exactly what I was looking for.

Good value for money and provides a good specification for my needs.
