God of War HD is an "as long as it's (kind of) pretty" game. The back-story is that God of War originally came about on the Playstation 2 game console. God of War HD came about as a means of having Kratos' entire story on Sony's current-gen system, the Playstation 3.

I'm not a great fan of this game or saga, but after talking to my friends i can understand why people like this saga, but it's not for me.

This is one of my favourite games of all time, if not, my favourite. The graphics, the storyline, the fighting and the gory parts! You play with Kratos, God of War, who makes his way up Mouth Olympus to seek revenge on Zeus, the God of all Gods, the God of Thunder.

Good of war at its best. Great sequences and dynamic moments. The ending is a classic!. Kratos as usual kicks butt with the help of triggered events and classic great battles which are seamless.

Mixing free-flowing combat with gory QTEs, the franchise's bloody explosion onto Sony's beefiest hardware is an epic.

God of War 3 is a great action game. There is no doubt about that. From the minute that first level loads up you know the scale of it all. The epic feel is evident just from the view of the Titans scaling Mount Olympus, and that never wavers throughout the entire experience.
