It's pretty much what we expect from this epic franchise, but the limited scope and fairly mundane ending hasn't rounded off this franchise with the dignity it deserves.

Great epic scale the series is known for; Mostly well told story; Looks great most of the time; Wonderful soundtrack; Fun combat system with a lot of weapons; Good pacing between combat and puzzle segments; Some very cool camera angles are used to display the world and action

A surprising lack of polish in some parts; Sound bugs; Game crashed; Noticeable slowdowns and framerate drops at random times; Fixed camera will have you occasionally fight enemies you cannot see; Controls can be a little unresponsive during platforming segments.

The God of War series is one of the jewels in Sony's first-party crown. The previous two games were the pinnacle of action games of the previous generation. A perfect blend of puzzle-solving and button-bashing with a heady blend of ultra violence and fan-boy pleasing nudity thrown in for good...

The short review would be: more God of War, but bigger. Normally this would be a criticism, but in this case it isn't. God of War and God of War 2 were magnificent achievements: the biggest, bloodiest blockbuster action games of a console generation, wringing so much magic out of the ageing PS2...

This game is fantastic. i really like reading about greek mythology and this game series is based on greek mytology which makes it more better for me. A must have exclusive game for all ps3 owners.
