God of War III is an epic game and a splendid conclusion to the series; its battles are fun, its bosses are huge and the task is entertaining. It is a title that all PlayStation 3 owners should own and is one of a number of impressive games recently released on the system.

How much Blood will you spill to get revenge? Remember at the end of God of War 2, where it said "The End Begins"? What will happen next? Will Kratos get his revenge on Zeus? Is God of War 3 actually going to be the final chapter in the series?

Story can be a little short

Kratos and God of War III have patiently sat atop Mount Olympus watching the likes of Bayonetta , Darksiders and Dante's Inferno clamber their way upwards in their efforts to usurp him.

The best boss fights the genre has seen yet; Production values are staggeringly high on all fronts; Still immensely satisfying combat

Not much new for the combat; Occasionally infuriating platforming sections; Not the longest of adventures for your money

Truly astounding videogames are few and far between, and whilst there have been some solid titles released this generation nothing has come close to the feeling of awe and bewilderment that God Of War III can bestow.

Issues with jump timing and other niggles spoil the overall impression

But it's smart as well as pretty, with a brilliant combat system that sees you chaining combos together with blood-soaked abandon, and revelling in some really gruesome weapons as you slowly piece together your god-killing arsenal. Flaming arrows? Check.

As we fought a giant scorpion in God of War III, we couldn't help but remember PS3's first software demonstration, when a similar crab-like foe in Genji: Days of the Blade did "massive damage" to Sony's reputation.

Last but not the least, God of War 3 is the best story amongst it all three, you will feel like that it might be an end to the journey of Kratos but there are still enough in the game for a sequel to take place so don't get shock when you get an announcement of a sequel to God of War 3.

This is one of my favourite games of all time, if not, my favourite. The graphics, the storyline, the fighting and the gory parts! You play with Kratos, God of War, who makes his way up Mouth Olympus to seek revenge on Zeus, the God of all Gods, the God of Thunder.
