Deicide doesn't make you many friends on Olympus. God Of War II finds Kratos at odds with Zeus and Athena, who conspire to strip the up-jumped Spartan of his powers. You can't really blame them for the backstab; the guy did smite Ares the last time he rubbed elbows with the gods.

The sense of scale is off the charts; From the opening brawl with the towering Colossus of Rhodes to the Island of Creation-a sprawling mega-level which takes a good half of the game to traverse

Many tasks and altercations are resolved by jamming on a single button as fast as possible.

Lately when a new PS2 game comes out, critics likes to slip a snide comment about how this will truly be the PS2's "swan song," but it seems like the PS2 is keeps getting better with age.

I bought this game new about a month after I bought the first one. These games are somewhat short, but they pack a boatload of gameplay in a 10 to 20 hour duration. You pick up right where GOW 1 left off. The Blade of Olympus is an excellent weapon. You get it within the first 15 minutes of playing.

I love this game. I really liked the first God of War game, but this one is even better! The only section of my rating that didn't get 5 stars was the "Suitability for All Ages" section.

STORY Picking up immediately after the events of the first game, our bald anti-hero now sits happily as the new God of war. Kratos' hunger for power seriously displeases Zeus; the king of the Gods decides to put Kratos' life to an end in order to diminish the ever-growing wrath of Mount Olympus.

by far the best ps2 game ever made this proves just what the ps2 can do if games was to be like that on the ps2 all the time there would be no need for a ps3 take a look this will blow you away the graphics are fantastic
