A great option for an all-around PC build, especially if expanding drive count or enhancing your desktop's curb appeal.
Strategically placed LEDs; Balance between connectivity options; Excellent sensor readings
UEFI still needs work

It has been a month since the AMD Ryzen CPU saw the light of day. Undeniably impressive in the multi-core stakes, the released quartet of Ryzen 7 chips make a solid case for being considered for your next performance PC build.
Lighting everywhere; Premium audio; Great looks; USB 3.1 everywhere
Too much SATA; not enough M.2
If you are looking for value, well, then the X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming offers a lot of it. Granted it was a really tiny notch slower overall compared to the expensive boards, but really that is incredibly small.
Aorus AX370-Gaming 5 AM4 ATX Motherboard Review The AMD Ryzen processor has been out for four months now, and there have been many updates to make things run a little smoother. While many were very upset at the launch issues, we should all acknowledge that these type of issues happen whenever there...
The AX370 Gaming 5 is the first AM4 motherboard I've worked with and while those experiences were traumatic enough to turn me off to the platform, I remain hopeful that it will mature into a viable alternative to Intel's Z270 platform.
The thing they do not tell you is that this board is HDMI and USB 3.0 only which means that you will need to get a graphics card to set it up and that the only operating system that you can run besides linux is "Windows 10" because it is the only on with built in 3.0 drivers
Worked great for a few weeks until bios failed to load; Relatively easy to fix the bios
After a few weeks the motherboard failed to boot; Had to switch to backup bios to repair/update the main bios, if you're unfamiliar with motherboard bios editing or just want a simple board I would not suggest this
I originally bought this on 23/08/2018, when I made a massive platform shift as well as overhaul of my system, only keeping my case fans well as PSU and storage. This housed a Ryzen 2700X, 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz, a Gigabyte GTX 1080 8GB Windforce OC, a couple of SSDs, HDDs, an...
The Gigabyte Aorus AX370-Gaming 5 is a well-balanced motherboard that offers superb fan control capabilities, an excellent RGB LED system, and a strong variety of connectivity for its £205 asking price.
Superb fan control system with good monitoring capabilities; Strong customisability for the RGB LED lighting solution; Good brightness and colour accuracy for the onboard RGB LEDs; PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 and U.2 connectors; XMP setting worked well with our 3200MHz G.SKILL Trident Z DDR4; Current BIOS...
No internal 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 header; No M.2 heatsink or cooling method provided; UEFI is functional but navigation; layout; and included features could be improved
