Absolutely thrilled with this graphics card. Amazing!
Awesome card that's going to last me many years. This thing generates alot of heat so be sure to have a case with good air flow!
Excellent value card - Able to run anything without any flaws. Highly recommended.
Runs nice and cool with a good airflow system and it keeps my frames high and consistent across the board. An incredibly strong card that will last me for years to come, it absolutely blows my old 970 Mobile out of the water. After a month of having it I still can't believe how buttery smooth my games are. That said, this card, and any 30 series card is only worth upgrading to if your current GPU just doesn't run what you need it to *and* you can comfortably afford to spend double the MSRP of what it's actually worth. If you can stick it out, I would. If not, it's a lot of money (mostly) well spent.
Good cooling, be aware it’s a long card. A few issues with power connectors, my card the pins on the card weren’t centralised in the socket, meaning the plug wouldn’t go in. Sorted it out, but DONT push really hard or you’ll crush the pins. Read about it on Reddit.
I am not too impressed with this card as Ianaged to get 2 and 1 is OK thermally but the other is terrible and finding not thermal pads on the backplate to pcb is shocking for price and let's not forget the oily thermal pads on gpu side of the pcb. Gigabyte have really cheaper out on this card and aparently the auros master same issue. Got a tuff for my VR rig and thermally amazing so sad gigabyte so sad. They won't fix the oily issue either or rthe cheap pads. Get another card
This card is a beast, it can easily handle ultra settings at 1440p. If you can get this to a reasonable price, grab it immediately
RTX3080 is a good card, only issue with this model is the Ram modules run Extremely hot while doing computations , 110degrees due to poor workmanship / sloppy placement of thermal pads on Memory modules front and back plate. i was able to resolve this by placing high quality thermal pads on the back of the ram modules and the front at a cost of $110 nzd. after this was done memory temps are around 58 - 70 degrees. other then that major issue, this is a fantastic card and can handle any thing you chuck at it.
Had been playing Grand Theft Auto V on my 1440p monitor with most settings at low to achieve a solid 100fps. When I installed the new card I was surprised I was only achieving practically the same performance with a slight increase in frames, but then I noticed everything had been set to max, so quite a worthwhile upgrade.
