It’s average, works but quality is fairly poor. Still not bad for price and is more than enough for say insurance. They try to push you to buy vault cloud which is annoying but works without lots of cams doing this now it’s totally useless feature

Very easy setup in my 2010 Forester. Had it for about 3 weeks and no issues with recording and app use. Only that it takes around 6 or 7 seconds for the dashcam to start recording when you start the car.
It didn't format my sd card, connected to my phone (Galaxy S10) once only. Due to its terrible UX (user experience), I asked for my money back, and the Harvey Norman technician refused to attend my request, saying that the camera wasn't broken. So to avoid such a nuisance, DO NOT BUY IT.
The Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 is a tiny dash cam that puts a focus on simplicity. Instead of overwhelming you with features you'll never use, the Mini 2 captures high-quality HD footage and has a useful set of voice control commands. Video quality is good, the smartphone app works well, and the camera is easy to swap out if you own multiple vehicles.
Compact design; Simple setup; Good video quality; Intuitive voice commands;
No microSD card included; Hardwiring kit sold separately; No display; Lacks GPS
Very small footprint - has only the features I need.
