I’ve had a few different dashcam systems over the years and this one surprised me. The only thing that disappoints me is it can’t be hardwired. Meaning you can only hide cables until the USB port. But it is a portable unit so it can be easily transferred between vehicles.

Great product although you need to hardwire it to get the full potential out of it. Unfortunately the hardwire kit is sold separately but is very easy to install.

Great product. The cloud storage is pointless. So get the model without the cloud storage if it is cheaper.

Camera was easy to mount, set up and get operational. At this price point, should have come with an SD card. Only real let down is the Garmin Drive App. Its super clunky and not well implemented.

The Garmin Dash Cam 57 offers GPS, great video, phone and cloud connectivity (with free temporary storage), a small profile, super easy mounting, great software features and a real battery, making it hard to beat among front-only dash cams. Now if only Garmin would add a rear option, we could eliminate the “front-only” caveat.
