I use this in my server cabinet. Because I pull this cord in and out very frequently the pins have worn quite quickly. As this cable was not designed for that - and I shouldn't be using the cable this way anyway, I don't hold it against it. If you were using this cable the way it's supposed to be - it would be perfect!
