F ollow the video games industry close enough, and you've likely heard that single player games are dying. The reasoning behind this being that solitary single player experiences don't offer enough of a value proposition for players.
I had been looking forward to Dishonored for quite some time, my interest first piqued when the initial batch of concept art was released last year and further heightened with the commencing deluge of gameplay trailers and my hands on experience of the game at the Eurogamer Expo.
Dishonored ticks every box a great game should. Imaginative, addictive, fun, beautiful and replayable, it's one of the best-executed games we've had the pleasure of reviewing for some time.
Welcome Dishonored, the "thief-like" assassination simulator that gives the power back to the player. Dark, mysterious, and razor-sharp deadly - this one is something special.
Freedom in how you complete each mission; Interesting setting and plot filled with complex layering; Satisfying combat (if you actually get into a fight; Constant feeling of progression and reward; Great stealth game; for those who like lurking in shadows; Lots of replay value for a single player...
The plot might not grab everyone, Gameplay might be too easy or slow, if you're looking for a straight up shooter, Leaves you wanting more..; oh wait, is that a good thing
