Incredibly Immersive Experience

If you have not bought this game, you are missing out on something. The world is large and immersive. Your actions have a direct consequence on the outcome. After finishing the game once, I immediately started it again taking a less blood filled path and was pleasantly surprised at the changes.

I love games where you can explore and find hidden items

I love games where you can explore and find hidden items, etc, so this game fit the bill. This game started out REALLY GOOD (and really weird... which I loved). However, it became REALLY REPETITIVE quickly. Played about 40% of the whole thing and haven't felt compelled to finish.

Dishonored

With this years Video Game BAFTA's not long finished, and the similarly themed Thief reboot just announced; it seems timely to revisit the modern classic that rightfully won for ‘Best Game', Dishonored . Few titles truly stand out in the first person genre due to a lack of innovation.

Metal Gear Squalid

The city of Dunwall isn't exactly a happy place. A plague of rats sweeps the city streets, killing everyone in their path or infecting them with a hideous disease which makes them bleed from the eyes before going barking mental.

The final mission in high chaos adds much-needed narrative tension

The penultimate mission seems to drag on forever

Dishonored The Knife of Dunwall reviewed

However, in 'The Knife of Dunwall' you're not playing as the voiceless protagonist Corvo. Instead, you assume control of the assassin Daud - the man responsible for killing the Empress at the beginning of the main game.

Dishonored

Dishonored succeeds where 95% of other games fail in this genre and it's all down to one key aspect that keeps the gamer immersed from start to finish: choice. Dishonored is all about choice.

Dishonored

Dishonored is slick, charming and unendingly satisfying. Creating a game where the freedom to do things your way is not an illusion is quite a feat and Arkane should be feeling very smug. Give me DLC and a sequel now! I just hope the cover doesn't put people off.
