Action/Stealth The bed-chambers of Buckingham Palace must be copiously supplied with blindfolds! Say, do you remember ? Well, Arkane Studios sure as shit do as what we have here is a fully-fledged ‘spiritual sequel' complete with all the modern bells and whistles you'd expect from a modern...
"This is a game I bought just before Christmas 2012 but due to getting others such as Skyrim at the same time it ended up being forgotten about. Now at the minute I am very much trying to have a clear out in all areas of the house and I somehow managed to get this game on pc and xbox.
nice storyline
doesn't take that long to complete
A really enjoyable game. graphics - 7/10 game play - 9/10 dialogue - 8/10 Achievements take two playthroughs too complete. I recommend if there are no other games you desperately want to rent.
Despite all the processing power this generation of consoles have to offer modern games all too often want to just funnel the player from one cinematic set piece to the next. For me the very best video games, such as Half-Life 2 and Deus Ex, provides the player with an interesting game world and...
Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches is the second part of the story that began with The Knife of Dunwall, as players return to the dark utopia that they know and love, re-entering the shoes of the anti-hero Daud.
The core gameplay remains unchanged alongside a few welcome tweaks; Daud's personality and goals are more apparent than the previous DLC; The portion of the DLC that deals in witches is awesome
The ending is pretty disappointing; The re-used level; and unchanged gameplay seems like a little less than we should expect from a DLC that comes almost a full year after the game
There's not much that's original in the gaming world these days, so right off the bat Arkane deserve credit for introducing something entirely new.
If you're reading this then you're more than likely already aware of how good of a game Arkane Studios' Dishonored is. The freedom to complete a mission how you wanted as the accused Corvo, be it non-lethal or with plenty of bloodshed, was brilliant.
Dishonored is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine the numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal.
You may have noticed that this Dishonored review is a bit late than it normally would be - and for good reason. Every time I tried to sit down and write about the new stealth, action game from Bethesda and Arkane Studios, my mind began to wander.
