Dishonored Review

Dishonored is different to anything you've ever played. Your experience will likely be different to mine from a game that is built around an elaborate set of player choices. Dishonored removes the shackles and allows the player to dictate their own terms.

+ A refreshing experience; + Play by your own rules; + A fantastic world; + Rewarding stealth gameplay can turn brutal

- A few texture issues in an otherwise amazing art style; - Very occasional control issues

Dishonored

Figuring out how to move through the environments is an enjoyable pursuit, and one of the first powers you get allows you to teleport a short distance. The quick pop and blurry whoosh of this power provides a nice audiovisual accompaniment to the thrill of defying natural law, and if you choose to...

Great suite of abilities encourages creativity; Spacious environments riddled with pathways and secrets; Lovely design brings the city to life; Superbly voiced cast of interesting characters

Review - Dishonored

Despite all the hype surrounding the latest title out of the Bethesda stable, we must admit that we were less than impressed on the couple of occasions we got our hands on the title earlier this year.

PS3 Review - 'Dishonored'

Dishonored is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine the numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal.

'Dishonored' game review: Seek revenge

is a unique first-person action-adventure that invites the player to decide how they want to play. They can ghost through levels with stealth, tackle guards head-on with combat or a mix of both.

Dishonored review

Once in a while a game comes along that gets you excited and no matter what, you want it, hoping against all hope that it'll be worth all of the scrimping and saving; all of those dodgy back alley dealings and brutal killings.

Superb visual style and sound; Stealth mechanics work like a supernatural charm

The odd bland texture or graphical anomaly

Bioshock meets fallout

The $15 promo card is a plus ESPECIALLY with no tax, I bought this game in a store for walls ;) with tax for 65 total but checked on here after a day and wallah, better deal, bought it here (second copy) and took this unopened game back to where I bought it from in store no problem, best of all got...

Betheseda and Arkane together is a great combination; You get the Bioshock experience but with the fallout sandbox type world set up; It's the best of both worlds I feel, I've been having a blast playing it due to being able to teleport and use magic (kinda like skyrim).

Your sword is ALWAYS in your right hand; there is no duel pistol wield or dual crossbow wield.....hacking people down is fun and all but having to pull up the menu because you need to switch the crossbow for a grenade in the middle of combat takes away from the realism of the game

Dishonored PS3 Review

First person shooters have become incredibly popular in the current gaming generation, to a point where it seems that every other game released is an FPS , or a shooter at least.

Dishonored – The Verdict

I had been looking forward to Dishonored for quite some time, my interest first piqued when the initial batch of concept art was released last year and further heightened with the commencing deluge of gameplay trailers and my hands on experience of the game at the Eurogamer Expo.

Dishonored – The PS3 Attitude Review

The Lyon-based Arkane Studios has previously worked on BioShock 2, and its new game, Dishonored, has more than a little in common with that series. From the first-person view to the supernatural powers and stylised visuals, many aspects of Dishonored feel familiar, so have we seen it all before, or...
