A lot of people regard Valve or Naughty Dog as the best developers of this generation. That may be true, but honestly, Bethesda Studios needs to be regarded as one of the best developers not in this generation, but in the entire game history.

Great game. You have to play this. Probably twice to get properly into it.
Welcome Dishonored, the "thief-like" assassination simulator that gives the power back to the player. Dark, mysterious, and razor-sharp deadly - this one is something special.
Freedom in how you complete each mission; Interesting setting and plot filled with complex layering; Satisfying combat (if you actually get into a fight; Constant feeling of progression and reward; Great stealth game; for those who like lurking in shadows; Lots of replay value for a single player...
The plot might not grab everyone; Gameplay might be too easy or slow; if you're looking for a straight up shooter; Leaves you wanting more...
This is my second time buying a used gamer through Amazon. They are fairly cheap and the quality is great. Glad I got this one.
Dishonored is different to anything you've ever played. Your experience will likely be different to mine from a game that is built around an elaborate set of player choices. Dishonored removes the shackles and allows the player to dictate their own terms.
+ A refreshing experience; + Play by your own rules; + A fantastic world; + Rewarding stealth gameplay can turn brutal
- A few texture issues in an otherwise amazing art style; - Very occasional control issues
Every so often, there comes a title that doesn't simply push the borders of what videogames can do, but also redefines what we, as gamers, come to expect of them. While many would be tempted to say, "Look, Bethesda's got another winner!"- it isn't that simple.
A zillion different ways to go about every mission; Gorgeous art design; Choices really make a difference; Experimenting with ways to kill people is way too much fun
Weak story; Occasionally clunky AI; Poor voice acting
If you like your games with plenty of intrigue and suspense, and a story that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go, then you're going to love Dishonored. You step into the shoes of Corvo, the Queen's Royal Protector, who has just returned from a mission to find a solution to a plague that is...
Superbly realised world; Enticing story; Excellent voice-acting and finely drawn characters; Plenty to find and do; Engaging combat
Slightly longish loading screens; A time-sink of note
In a year when there have been few great games, I am glad to say this one breaks the mould. Graphics are excellent, as is the gameplay, controls and storyline. Once I started playing I could not put it down. Game of the year so far and you will not be dissappointed.
The good reviews made me to buy this in XBOX deals over other game during last quarter of previous year. And then I started playing it. My first few thoughts after playing for few hours, what should I be doing and then it became what am I doing.
