There are grey horizontal lines on various areas of the monitor as my head changes its position. Super annoying and hard to unsee when you have seen them. I had someone else in my household use the monitor just to make sure I wasn't being too picky.

3 months in and no regrets. I have two displays and they are absolutely stunning connected to my cheese-grater Mac Pro via Display Port. Absolutely a joy to work with and look at. Stunning color and image quality. The price and value are a no brainer.

wanted good resolution high def screen (2nd side by side monitor for photo editing) - for the price couldnt do better.

A very straightforward connection via HDM1 cables to my graphics card with a simple setup. Interesting the monitor included a calibration chart, not always seen with 4K monitors. One bit of warningdo not install the software drivers.

The best 4K monitor for the money. Integrated support for MacOS scaled resolutions (no downgrading to 2K or 1080p for larger text and ikons).

Ugly with that classic "designed by a committee of engineers" look. The quality of the panel itself is acceptable but there is a certain "graininess" to the plastic protective layer.

It would have been nice to know upfront that this monitor required a special plug on the computer to operate it. I bought a new computer and a new monitor and got home with the monitor and found that it would not connect to that computer.

Replaced a Samsung U28590D with this, very pleased. Base is ridiculously sturdy and build quality is high throughout. Well worth the extra cost, but could have come with a few more cables.

I've had this for 6 months. Using it with a 2015 13" Macbook Pro with Retina, connected via mini display port. Very happy with the monitor's performance. No dead pixels, no quality control issues with my unit. Love the adjustable stand - can adjust up or down in addition to tilting.
