Dance Central 3 Review

It's been no secret that since the debut of the Kinect for the Xbox 360, Dance Central has been the best reason to own a Kinect and Harmonix innovates and improves the series in awesome ways with Dance Central 3.

The most accurate motion-tracking game yet; The animation; sound; and story all fit in perfectly with the world Harmonix has created; Importable songs; tons of modes; and weekly challenges will keep you dancing

Not enough songs

Dance Central 3 review

With its first two installments, Dance Central has proven itself to be the dance franchise to beat. Utilizing the Kinect to full effect and wrapping everything up with great presentation, this series has been a recent reigning champ in the motion-controlled and party-game genres.

The totally charming camp of the single-player campaign; How well-suited it is for party play; Great variety to the soundtrack

Core gameplay is more of the same; Decoding Dance Crazes can be a burden; Dancing to Justin Bieber

Dance Central 3 hops, shuffles, and body rolls its way to greatness (review)

The body roll is my holy grail. Though many variations of the dance move exist, the combination of leg, hip, chest, and shoulder movements that form a sultry, S-shape curve through the body stays the same.

Stellar soundtrack With Dance Central 3′s curated list of 45 tracks, you - along with your friends and family - are sure to find at least a few favorites among them; Gloria Gaynor's classic anthem "I Will Survive" and Van McCoy's "The Hustle" finally make their expected appearances in the series, as...

Limitations of the hardware I can't help but feel like Dance Central 3 is held back by the Kinect's constraints; The title works flawlessly most of the time, but little quirks here and there can disrupt the experience.

Dance Central 3

Over 40 new songs – including "Ice Ice Baby" – form a packed and varied roster of tracks. The songs on offer range from classics of the 1970s to contemporary offerings; all have the kind of populist appeal that you would expect from this series.

Dance Central 3

Blimey, we're onto the third Dance Central already? It doesn't feel that long since we were enjoying the first title when Kinect launched. Back then, the idea of highly responsive dancing action was innovative, refreshing and a hell of a lot of fun.

Dance Central 3 Review: Dancing, to the next level

Three years ago Harmonix introduced us to Dance Central, a franchise that has since then exemplified the power and potential of the Kinect and has continued to evolve with each new title.

Dance Central 3 Review

Dance Central 3 is a great continuation of the series and with Harmonix shifting the focus to the multiplayer mode, it's a better party game than ever before. Don't lose hope if you prefer to play friendless, however, as they've also added a pretty awesome single player campaign that will have you...

Great Third Installment for New and Old Fans; In-depth Story Mode is Corny Fun; New Multiplayer Modes Add Replayability

Still No Online Multiplayer; Arguably Weaker Track List; Not A Whole Lot of Challenge for Veteran Players
