Purchased DAP-1360 to extend the range of D-link 655 router. I have the router in the basement, but have poor or no signal on the 3 level upstairs. The extender has great range setup in the AP mode (connected directly to my router through Cat5 cable).

Took it out of the box, plugged it in and now my nieghbour has great Internet access too!:). Piece of cake. Gave him 3 bars on his iPhones etc in his house.

After finishing the wizard the log in screen no longer worked so if I didn't nail the config on the first try, I had to do a factory reset to try the set up wizard again, after which point the admin log in refused to work again.

This router works very well if you can get it to work; Using as a standard router, it will work as expected

The documentation is practically useless for those using repeater mode; One gets the feeling that D-Link cut and pasted most of the info in the manual.
