This switch is finicky and requires frequent restarts/resets to work as it should for a few days. Have removed it from service. This my 3rd one. The first one worked flawlessly for almost 4 years. Second died in about one year. It required several resets.

Linksys/Cisco products are tried and true. We run several of these around the office. It's compact design allows for discrete placement.

I owned this switch for over 1 year now and it has been working great. I never had to reboot or reset this device. I have TV, DVD Player, PS4 connect to this device due to limited # of port available on my router.

I needed more ports than my cable modem has. This ethernet switch fit my need perfectly! The set-up only took a couple of minutes-basically plug it in to your modem, connect the devices and just like that you are in business! Very easy and hassle free set-up.

Effortless connections. Just plug it in and away you go. I use this in my home office connecting 4 computer systems and three different printers as well as running Netflix on an playstation 3 . Consistently performs faultlessly.

This unit is ideal for SMB or home use. I realize that most home useres don't need an 8 port switch, but by the time I hooked up all my PC's, Access points (large house), and my NAS I was long since out of ports.

I haven't had any issues whatsoever with this switch. I get blazing fast Gb speeds, as expected, and haven't had to really do anything with it whatsoever since I installed it in my network. I did restart it once, but later found the problem was in the router.
