Excellent but seller price is high

This camera has excellent quality photos and videos. It's pocket size and therefore not a hassle to carry. The optical zoom is a bit moderate and doesn't work during video recording (only digital zoom); you have to optical-zoom before starting to shoot the video.

Excellent quality

Hight Price

My Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 review shows a camera that offers a lot of features that are fun to use. The colorful camera has quite a few nice options for a sub-$200 camera , including several fun special effects.

Compact, lightweight and stylish; Comes with 1080p HD video; Well priced

Autofocus struggles in low light; Some images can be soft; Slow performance

Canon IXUS 115 HS review: Canon IXUS 115 HS

Should style matter equally to one's photography as substance, then perhaps one should closely investigate the Canon IXUS series of compact cameras. Thanks to the long line of lascivious models that have come before it, the IXUS 115 HS inherits a very good-looking body that belies its inexpensive asking price.

The IXUS 115 is a nifty compact that will fit in your pocket, but won't dent it with a heavy price.

Compact, lightweight and stylish; Comes with 1080p HD video; Well priced.

Autofocus struggles in low light; Some images can be soft; Slow performance.

Canon PowerShot Elph 100 HS

Canon's Elph line has long been known for packing good image quality into tiny packages, and the latest version, the 12.1-megapixel Canon PowerShot Elph 100 HS ($199.99 list) continues the trend.

Small, compact build; Dedicated low-light mode; Shoots 1080p video

Average image quality and speed; Can't adjust zoom or focus in video mode

The 100 HS takes arguably the best photos of any sub-$200 camera on the market. It can capture decent shots even in challenging settings, and in ideal conditions-outdoors on a bright, sunny day-its images are bright and clear with true-to-life colors.

Works great, looks great

I don't know much about cameras so I was looking for a compact one that could take quality pictures.

Comes in cool colors

Picture quality is lacking

I purchased one of these little numbers to replace a Panasonic TZ-6 which I considered very overrated, and is intended to compliment my DSLR. I was immediately impressed by the small size, and classy looks. I have owned Canon IXUS compacts before, so I found operating the camera very intuitive.

Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS

Canon has always impressed us with its ability to produce very good quality cameras at the low end of the price spectrum. Even their very cheapest cameras are usually better than the competition at the same price point, and as such they usually get pretty high marks from us at Imaging-Resource.com .

Small and smooth design makes it very pocketable; Multiple colors available; Plenty of optional modes if you want them; 4x wide-angle zoom with optical image stabilization; Smart Auto makes Scene settings choices for you; Good 3-inch LCD; Well-placed controls; Full HD video; Dedicated movie record

Buttons may be too small for those with large hands; Color shift in yellows makes some colors seem muted; Some noticeable chromatic aberration at wide-angle; Slightly lower-than-average battery life; High-speed burst wasn't quite as fast as advertised in our tests; Plastic center piece feels
