Canon EOS 60D review

The EOS 60D sits between the EOS 50D and the EOS 7D in Canon's mid-range digital SLR offerings. It's fast, has a vari-angle LCD screen, shoots high-definition video, and has useful built-in image processing. So far, so good.

Fast burst mode; excellent high ISO performance; hinged LCD screen; full HD video recording

8-way control button feels terrible and doesn't always respond

Canon EOS 60D review

It's only natural to view the Canon 60D as a replacement for the semi-pro EOS 50D . As well as following on in typical numerical sequence, Canon also pronounced the EOS 50D obsolete at the same time as launching the new camera.

Sitting in-between the Canon 600D and EOS 7D in Canon's current lineup, the Canon 60D features a polycarbonate body rather than a magnesium alloy type, meaning the exterior doesn't share the same solid, durable feel as some of its closest rivals, but that said, the handgrip is well moulded and feels

Canon EOS 60D

Vari Angle LCD; wireless flash control built in; excellent movie recording with external mic jack and audio control; in-camera raw processing and image resizing; extensive software bundle included; good battery performance; excellent image quality, even at higher ISO settings

At frisk I was a little sketched out about this ...

At frisk I was a little sketched out about this purchase but after obtaining the camera after 6 to 7 days or so I will say it was worth the money and I had nothing to worry about!!!

Like it!

Would like more options available to user when using Live View option. Great speed. Great camera. Pretty heavy camera for the casual photographer.

Easy To Use; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; High ISO Performance; Large Clear LCD; Quiet

Lack Of View Options; Poor Focus In Lower Light; Poor In Low Light

This is my first XXD camera having owned the XT, XTi and XSi prior. I never was in a position to be able to afford this one but was fortunate enough to obtain it from my youngest son in exchange for the XSi.

great mid range camera

This is the second time I purchase this camera, my previous one were stolen. Since I don't have budget to upgrade to full frame. I choose to purchase 60D again. It's a wonderful mid-range camera with a lot of great things. I use it for both photo and a lot of video.

Easy To Use; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Image Quality; High ISO Performance; Hi res LCD screen; Large Clear LCD; Tilt /Swivel LCD

Lack of certain button; Plastic body; Too many useless mode

Brilliant DSLR!

Great DSLR. Good for enthusiastic beginners who want to advance as it goes from basic auto modes to quite advanced features. Been using this for a few years now with a variety of lenses and has never failed to impress and gets the job done.
