Coming from the film era, still good memories of the EOS 1n, etc., I'm very pleased with digital, but the dslrs I've used up till now had always a plastic kind of fragile feeling, or they were far too heavy, being Nikon or Canon the feeling was more or less the same, in this respect.
The 60D fits well in the gap between the Rebel series and the 7D. It offers enough features to entice anyone looking at buying a Rebel T3i or 7D to step up or down, respectively. The Canon EOS 60D digital SLR camera is fast, performs well in the dark, takes crisp and vibrant pictures, and it offers plenty of physical improvements over the Canon EOS 50D .
Canon certainly seems to have produced another winner in the EOS 60D. It's a very useful update of the 50D, adding more pixels, HD video, a tilt and swivel LCD and lots of other small refinements.
