"AMAZING camera"

Was shopping around for a secondary camera to use for my wedding video business. Video quality is on par with my primary video camera, at about 1/4 the price.

GREAT in low light; interchangeable lenses let you get that shallow DoF "film look"; SD cards are dirt cheap; Great for b-roll; or run-and-gun videography

Canon EOS 600D offers excellent features like 3 inches vary angle LCD screen with highly impressive 1 million pixel. Canon EOS Rebel T3i

Some digital camera upgrades outperform their predecessors by leaps and bounds. Some camera upgrades move forward by inches. The Canon Rebel T3i falls into the latter camp. This follow-up to the Editors' Choice Rebel T2i ($799.99, 4.5 stars) adds a flip-out LCD, but otherwise doesn't change any of...

Quick; Good picture quality

Extremely slow Live View mode; Not as fast as the T2i, images aren't as sharp

Canon EOS 600D DSLR Camera

The price point of DSLR cameras have significantly dropped over the last few years. With the implementation of new technology, DSLRs are becoming increasingly simpler to use and customers buy them  for their superior image quality and manual controls.

Canon EOS Rebel T3i

If you didn't think the 60D was overpriced when it shipped, you will now. The Canon EOS Rebel T3i (aka the EOS 600D), the 60D's younger and cheaper sibling, offers the same basic camera with some corners cut--most notably a slightly less well-constructed body and a (purposely?

The Canon EOS Rebel T3i delivers excellent video capabilities and image and video quality

If you shoot both still and video; the T3i's controls can be frustrating to operate; and it's not terribly fast for burst shooting sports; kids; or pets

The Rebel series has never been characterized by cutting-edge innovation or radical interpretations of what a camera can be - instead, the series' development seems to be driven by a calm, rational assessment of the features people want in a tolerably small package and at a price people are willing

Excellent image quality even at high ISO settings; Extremely high detail and resolution at base ISO; good per-pixel sharpness; Good dynamic range; improved by use of Highlight Tone Priority; On-screen Q-Menu offers good access to shooting settings; Excellent LCD screen is articulated (great for

Slow AF in Live Mode reduces benefit of articulated screen for stills shooting; White balance often excessively orange under artificial light; Button functions in live view mode very different from conventional mode; Key features and parameters hidden in Custom Function menu; Lacks the in-camera Raw

Best of both worlds

Canon's EOS 600D further blurs the line between a beginner and professional DSLR. Although it has a smaller frame and lacks a second control dial and screen, it still packs a lot of features.

Good image and video quality; handy 3in articulated screen; fast autofocus with viewfinder; can wirelessly control other flash units

Live View mode is slow to start up; Autofocus is noisy in video mode

Great overall device

I am quite happy with the Rebel T3i. There is nothing negative to say really regarding quality of photos, which is great. However if I had to be critical I would say the autofocus drains the battery quite quickly.

Canon EOS 600D

Canon's triple-digit EOS line has traditionally catered for those dipping their toes into DSLR photography, but as successive models have acquired more functionality, they've ventured further into enthusiast territory.

Overall strong image quality; Wireless flash capabilities; Articulated LCD; Full HD video recording; Plenty of features for beginners to grow

Meagre burst rate; Not built for those with large hands

Canon EOS 600D review

Updates to Canon's popular range of consumer-level digital SLRs always make waves, and the new EOS 600D is no exception. Slotting in at the top end of Canon's entry-level line-up, it ‘makes capturing exciting, fun and creative images easier than ever', the company brags.

Excellent sensor and great high-ISO quality; articulating LCD screen is bright and detailed; some improvements over the EOS 550D

Some menu options hard to find; layout of controls could be better
