So easy to use, I did not have to read and entire manual to learn how to operate it. The image quality is amazing. I can't wait to get out and shoot more.
Bought this camera from Amazon India Site. Its a piece of art itself. I got a the additional Zoom lens free with it and a camera bag. The camera has amazing picture clarity. Amazing sharpness. Adjustable display for better shots. The CMOS is super responsive. Battery Life is amazing.
Although I have a 5D Mark II and a 1DS Mark III, sometimes you need something smaller, lighter, and something easily available. Excellent quality, can use my other lenses and easy to grab for that quick grandchild shot all make this a great camera for me.
Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization
Lag / Shutter Delay; Noisy At High ISO; Short Battery Life
The Canon EOS 600D is destined to be a major success. Despite being laden with the kind of features you'd expect to find on an enthusiast-level DSLR, it retains its compact size and ease of use and manages to deliver a very high success rate in terms of well-exposed, sharp results.
Having often use a friend's 1000D, the transition to the 600D was smooth and I quickly grew accustomed to the 600D's layout and functions. That said, the 600D has more advanced operations that lets the user grow into- it's not a camera that you will quickly get bored of.
Nice features/settings; Quick Start-up time; Excellent image quality; Solid Operation; Simple controls/menu; Easy to use
Missing features/settings; Short battery life
Only a year after the release of the Canon EOS Rebel T2i, here is its replacement -- the T3i. The T3i keeps the 18 megapixels and ISO range of its predecessor, so there is no difference in image quality.
Excellent image quality at all ISO settings; Articulated LCD screen; Ability to remotely control flashguns
White balance; Slow AF in Live View Mode
Canon's latest Rebel T3i offers a robust feature set, a staggering 18MP APS-C sensor, good control over your photography, and an impressive array of movie modes. At just a little more than 18 ounces, the T3i feels very good in your hand.
Great feel in the hand; impressive video capabilities; good manual
Obtuse user interface
(1 items) The Canon EOS Rebel T3i with 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS optional kit lens is a complete picture taking machine. The latest Rebel features an LCD that swings out and can be positioned at a variety of angles, full HD video recording, wireless flash control, a respectable continuous shooting mode,...
Beautiful and useful Vari Angle 3-inch LCD; Wireless flash transmitter for multiple flashes; Robust movie recording options including full HD; External mic jack; Clear; easy to use menu system and onscreen controls; Excellent image quality; even at ISO 1600; Versatile 18-135mm kit lens option
Some physical controls (such as Display button) oddly placed; Lack of single button movie recording; Auto White Balance struggles in most indoor lighting conditions--a traditional Canon weakness
The Canon EOS 600D isn't much to look at, but it's a great performer, and its creative features and helpful nature make it an excellent choice for both beginners and enthusiasts looking to replace an older dSLR.
Useful fold-out screen; Numerous video features; Plenty of on-board help and creative tools
Run-of-the-mill design; Plasticky feel
