Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox 360

Infinity Ward know this too, they are surely in perpetual fear of the series being taken to the same farm as Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk to frolic in...

Some good ideas in campaign; Solid Multiplayer foundation

Missing features from previous iterations; Superfluous squads mode; Lacks focus

Review: Call Of Duty Ghosts

For me, I feel games like Call of Duty set the bar when it comes to the first person shooter. While some people have their picks for which COD is the best, I think that this one is up there. As per the standard, Ghosts is spot on with the gameplay.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (Xbox One)

The single player campaign in Call of Duty: Ghosts does not do anything radically different from its predecessor, almost to a fault. Even so, it delivers enough action and excitement in multiplayer mode to keep you entertained.

Riley the dog is a welcome addition; The multiplayer is as balanced and feature-laden as always

The single player campaign story is mostly forgettable; Game runs at 720p resolution on Xbox One

Call of Duty: Ghosts - Review

The nights are growing darker, the mornings are getting frosty and that can only mean one thing: it's Shooter Season. Yes, the pre-Christmas build up of first-person mayhem and explosions is now officially under way as the annual COD release - Call of Duty: Ghosts - is finally here.

The campaign's setpiece highlights are stunning; COD still has the best deathmatch multiplayer of any shooter; Incredibly generous spread of online modes and maps

Very few surprises; Some technical rough edges and shrunken lobbies on older consoles; Cool campaign ideas from Black Ops II have been ignored

Call Of Duty Ghosts

Campaign was (of course) short but quite engaging. Multiplayer was a slight improvement on previous versions but more of the same really. I still get smashed up by 10 year olds

Ghosts

We'll after all the hype what a disappointment. The graphics are great gameplay good but get onto multiplayer and it all goes downhill fast. The maps are too big with too many levels yet again a campers wet dream the good old demolition has gone to be replaced by below par games.

Black Ops 3 not MW4.

As the title suggests this game is more like Black ops than Modern Warfare. For all you people out there looking for a new story mode that is intense like only a cod game can be, you're in luck. Short as it is, as they all are, its great. Go for it if thats what you are after.

One last hurrah- Call of Duty:Ghosts

Ghosts for the 360 and PS3 should have been the best of the generation, closing out the cycle with a strong finish and a hint of what's to come. It certainly is a solid game with several -wow- moments and typically great multiplayer, but it's obvious Infinity Ward played it safe with this one.

Set pieces in space and underwater are ridiculous fun; Multiplayer player customization is deeper yet more accessible; Squads brings a great new multiplayer mode to the franchise

Campaign drags significantly in the middle with some incredibly trite plot twists; Dogs attacking dogs in multiplayer feels wrong; Extinction mode could benefit from additional maps

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Ghosts is a cookie cutter game with a little touch of alien frosting on top. However, the well-designed multiplayer maps, soldier customization, and polished gameplay is more than enough to sink your teeth into.

Fantastic; polished controls the series is known for; Multiplayer is as entertaining as ever

Single-player missions are a snoozefest; Squads is more of a practice mode for beginners than a successor to Spec Ops; Extinction doesn't hold the same appeal as Zombies

Call of Duty: Ghosts Review

isn't a reinvention of the franchise, but proves there's still room for innovation within its existing formula. Though at the risk of overcomplicating things at times, its robust multiplayer gameplay, surprisingly fun co-op modes, and lengthy, challenging, and varied campaign makes Ghosts one of the...

Greater team focus; Robust class system; Exceptional campaign

Maps too large; Overly complex
