Reviewing a Call of Duty game is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman. Barely anyone believes or cares what you tell them about it, and you end up with sore thumbs regardless. Nevertheless, here we go.

The thing with most of the ‘bigger' titles being released right now is that we are getting current and next gen versions. Seeing as the PS4 and XBOX ONE aren't quite ready for shipping yet, we'll be looking at the current gen version, but hope to bring you coverage of the next gen version at some...
" Call Of Duty: Ghosts " is a fine enough game in its own right, but when compared to Black Ops 2, I much prefer the ways in which Treyarch are taking the COD games. The story, whilst action-packed, lacks any real ambition, and seems like a step back.

Maps have increased verticality and variation; Perks system allows greater customisation; Blitz; Hunted and Infected modes to lighten the mood
It's still the same old COD; The usual controller hurling frustration remains; New perks tiles can be confusing at first
In the realm of video games, Call of Duty reigns as the lord of the land. With annual releases that never fail to spark massive sales and rack up millions of in-game hours, Call of Duty has a dedicated fan base that is envied in the industry.

Well-executed single player story; run and gun is broken up with different game modes; new graphic and audio engine; the new Extinction co-op mode; a wealth of new multiplayer features
Ending was a bit clichéd; relatively short single-player campaign
