With the advent of a new console generation - the first such shift since the original Modern Warfare debuted - Activision had a perfect opportunity to finally guide its top-selling shooter in a totally new direction. But...they didn't.

Hold on tight because it seems like Fall is on its way out and winter is almost here. That means two things: snow and new games. The way things are shaping up; we are going to have lots of both.

Well-executed single player story; run and gun is broken up with different game modes; new graphic and audio engine; the new Extinction co-op mode; a wealth of new multiplayer features

Call of Duty is really bad these days. Rather than putting a new Call of Duty out every year, maybe spent some more time building them? Really have not got anything good to say about this one.

As I looked over Activision's ‘Destiny' and ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts' booths at E3 this year one thing jumped out and slapped me in the face: Destiny hauled in a crap load of E3 awards while Ghosts had none. Not one award at E3.

Ten years after a devastating mass event, the nation's borders and the balance of global power have been redrawn forever. A superpower no more, its economy and government in ashes, the country's once-mighty military struggles to stave off complete collapse.

A series in serious danger of outstaying its welcome, Call of Duty is once again a victim of its own success, unable to change the winning formula too much. And yet, Infinity Ward has still managed to craft a first-person shooter that is exciting, engaging and unreservedly fun.

- Generic and predictable single player campaign; - Multiple campaign game-breaking glitches; - Dated graphics; - With the incredible destructibility in Battlefield 4; it's even harder not to notice how dated Call of Duty's engine has become

" Call Of Duty: Ghosts " is a fine enough game in its own right, but when compared to Black Ops 2, I much prefer the ways in which Treyarch are taking the COD games. The story, whilst action-packed, lacks any real ambition, and seems like a step back.
