I've had 4 toasters in 12 years and this is definitely the best ever.

over many years, I have tried a lot of toasters of all kinds and price range. But all have had something to complain about, from under toasting the bread to setting it on fire! Even one that threw the toast so hard it often landed on the kitchen floor. Now this Sage one is something else !

My husband has used it once, will be returning it, bread didnt fit and one side didnt toast all the bread, a cheap toaster would toast better

Our old toaster finally stopped working after about 20years. A friend has one of the Breville Smart Toast toasters and loves it so we decided to go that way. This toaster is magic. A well designed and thought out item that toasts anything, perfectly.

I purchased this 2 days ago, have used 3 times. the right hand side is stuck down and won't come up despite resetting and following manual instructions. Its as though the motor has failed. I shall be returning this one tomorrow for a replacement. Let's hope the new one lasts longer then 2 days.

This is good toaster. We bought one as our daughter has had one the same for many years and it has never missed a beat. Happy with this one, only criticism is it toasts a little lighter at the top.

Really enjoying this toaster, as it does everything as promised. Great control over the end product so that you get your toast exactly as you want it. Haven't tried crumpets yet, but will soon.

We finally have a functional toaster. Not only does it cook toast evenly, it does it with great functionality. This is a smooth, functional 4 slice beauty.
