Manufacturer: Bowers & Wilkins
We were fans of the original Bowers & Wilkins PX7 headphones, but our biggest gripe was their middling active noise cancellation (ANC) relative to their high price. The new Px7 S2 headphones replace the original model and carry the same $399 price, along with many of the same advantages and drawbacks. They deliver a wonderful audio experience with rich lows and a natural tone that’s ideal for classical and jazz msuic, plus their high-end design is wonderfully comfortable and exudes luxury. The high-end Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 headphones look, feel, and sound fantastic, which makes their less-than-impressive noise cancellation capabilities forgivable.
Strong audio performance, with rich bass depth and bright highs; Excellent mics; Comfortable fit; Luxurious design
Noise cancellation isn't in line with the price; In-app EQ is overly simplistic
If analytical audio and sophisticated design are what you’re after, the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2 are the ANC headphones to buy
High-quality sound; Delightful design; Extremely comfortable;
Limited audio customisation; Slightly short on smart features;
Lovely premium feel; ANC is simply brilliant; Sound quality is wonderful;
Design hasn’t really changed; No 3.5mm port; Button setup on right cup is terrible;
