Borderlands 2 doesn't mess too heavily with the successful formula established by the original back in 2009, delivering another customisation-heavy first-person shooter with the questing structure and customisation options of a role-playing game and a big emphasis on co-operative play.

FPS/RPG We need guns. Lots of guns. As much as we gushed ourselves daft over the original , at least until the frankly terrible DLC spoiled the party, we did always wish for a bit more in the way of variation.

Back in 2009, Gearbox's space-western Borderlands, a mash up of first-person shooter and role-playing game, turned out to be rather popular despite a barely there story, limited variety between class types and combat, and ultimately rather repetitive gameplay.

Borderlands 2 Story line quite follow and at the same time doesn't follow the Original Borderlands. New Weapons, a lot of new weapons were added to the game, new characters and new way to upgrade your character. This new gender of game style is pretty unique and they do a great job in this series.

The borderlands series has always been a favourite for me and this definitely deserves the GOTY title. along with all the DLC too this is a great purchase which can save you a ton of money

In 2009 2K Games released an unknown IP to the world, and that IP was Borderlands. It was a game that had been in development since 2007 and there were some major changes about a year prior to the games final release.

I have this on Steam.. + the HJC on X One. Love the series enough, that I'm picking up a GOTY edition, so that I can transfer my PC saves over to X 360 and then X one, so I can help my buddiest power level. Damn fun game.
