I am not able to get the voice chat to work at all on Xbox One S. I have tried jamming the cable into the earphone as hard as pretty much humanly possible. The sound is great, but it does me 0 good if I have no voice chat. Does anyone have a fix for this I hope so!

I use this headset everyday when I play video games, and the sound quality and noise canceling technology built into it is top notch. I have had many other headsets in the past, but this one is the absolute best for the money. You definitely get what you pay for here.

The MMX300 is roughly equivalent to the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones (32ohm version) with a microphone added. The sound quality is great. There's lots of deep bass without it being boomy and the treble is clear without being too bright.

Beyerdynamic known for their high end headphones have now released a gaming headset. This headset is priced at a record €299/$299 so the stakes are high.

Hi folks, i have been looking for a very comfortable but great sounding headset for long lasting, comfortable and immersive gaming sessions. Before the MMX 300 i used the SteelSeries Siberia Elite (pretty good) and the Logitech G35. For sound comparison i also have the AKG 701 and the B&W P7.

No mic-mute button / no volume control / cable not detachable (but very solid) / higher price class

I came back a year after owning these specifically to warn people about these headsets. I am not the only person with this problem. DO NOT BUY these unless you want to fix them yourself every 6 months.

Poor quality wiring; broke twice now inside the cable near the left ear which causes the sound to cut out

I have really enjoyed my time with the beyerdynamic MMX 300 headset. OK I admit the packaging was not up to much considering the premium nature and premium price! But there's no doubting its build quality, the headset feels bullet proof, and it must be as beyerdynamic offer a 5 year warranty!
