It did exactly what it said it would do. Also came with a cable so that's good.

I setup the dock following the simple instructions and was treated to a no signal message. Spent about an hour trying different cables and devices etc to no avail. Turns out it needed a firmware update which requires a Windows PC (and maybe a USB C power adapter? The firmware update instructions were a bit ambiguous, I used my switch one, unsure if this is necessary). As well as some software from the Aten website. Worked as expected after this.

Connect to PC using usb c cable(or usb a to usb c) Download firmware and install https://www.aten.com/global/en/products/release-note//?action=release_note&type=firmware&eid=1747 Might need to adjust display size to 97% if you use it with a 4k TV.
