This motherboard line is defective. This is the third motherboard that I purchased that has crashed. ASUS (Asustek), you have some serious quality control issues for a company that claims to be a worldwide leader in computer technology. So after all the funds I have spent.....

Plenty; After the initial issues with Memory slots on initial start up, roughly a year later, this board has crashed; After I got past the memory issue and installed 4 x 4 GB memory, the computer worked.

Great mobo. Everything works as it should. And I'm a novice builder. Easy enough to understand and build, clear manual. Comes with thermal radar which if your not familiar with its basically fan control to increase flow through your case. Either way . I would be recommend it.

It's not often that you can purchase a motherboard equipped with a chipset/socket designed for a new CPU architecture well before the appropriate CPUs have been released. AM3+ is the latest socket type by AMD, which facilitates the extra pin required for Bulldozer processors to unleash their power...

I paired this mobo with an AMD fx 8 core processor and maxed out the Ram @ 32 gig. Although it doesn't support DDR4 or PCIE 3.0, for the price, quality, and shipping speed. There are very few out there that can beat it.

I have really enjoyed my time with the Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 , the board has a well laid out design with 4 chassis fan headers and two CPU fan headers all of which feature PWM Control.
