The ASUS PG279QM is excellent for gaming. The high refresh rate makes a real difference (I was sceptical before but now am a big fan) and the G-SYNC module ensures buttery-smooth frames without micro-stuttering even when the graphics card falls below the frame rate target. Steep price (I purchased around $1.6k). It is expensive but it will do everything a content creator nowadays needs. For the price you are getting great colour accuracy and viewing angles, a built-in latency improving module and 1440p @ 240hz with some decent HDR performance when needed. The stand is a bit wide but I assume most people buying this can afford a monitor arm in the first place. Very recommendable if the price drops a bit and you have the disposable income for this monitor
