This is what my IT son suggested to get

I know diddly squat about computers but my son is in IT so it was him who chose this item and he was happy with it! I'm just grateful my computer is going again!

Great performance for the price

I don't have 2 graphics cards anymore so no need for 2 PCIe 16 slots. Love the m.2 slots on this as well. I OC the 3600 - sitting on 4.6Ghz and no need for 'gaming' motherboards with much higher retails costs - this works just as well with results I'm happy with, with the many options this board BIOS presents.

a great budget motherboard

Easy to work with, seemed to be the best budget AX wifi board i could find, and so far works great. In Hindsight i probably would have preferred to go with a board that has a USB-C connection point.

Nice, has all that's needed for a basic build

I rebuilt an old PC around this board. It proved to be easy to work with. I added a Ryzen 5500, 8GB G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GVKB, an existing graphics card, and the existing SSD's. Being a less expensive MB, there aren't any error indicator LED's for CPU/RAM/Boot issues - diagnosis would have to be by swapping components (which you would need to have available). I had a problem with the first power supply I tried, but fortunately it seemed obvious that it was some kind of power issue, so I tried swapping that first and all was well. Once it was running, I enabled ASUS BIOS DCOP and brought the memory up to the spec'd speed with no issues...view more
