This mic sounds great on acoustic guitar: much better than other condensers in this price range.

Good Mic

I bought this initially as a mic to record ambient sound in my house for a security system. I hook the mic into a mixer with phantom power and output to the wireless PTZ camera which sends the signal through my router to an app on my phone.

The AKG Perception 170 Condenser microphone is sleek , stylish and more than affordable. It is a instrument microphone with a small diaphragm to give a clean and accurate sound. It does require phantom power and it has a cardioid polar pattern.
