iRobot Roomba 960 Review: A Budget Version of the Roomba 980
When iRobot introduced the 980 to the market, it represented a significant shift in the way they designed their robots. The first significant change would be the navigation. Instead of using a thorough but yet inefficient random algorithm that a lot of consumers come to love, it followed suit with...
Pros:
- A cheaper version of the Roomba 980 (around $200 less
- App-based control means you can control this robot anywhere with an internet connection
- Comes with the same iAdapt 2.0 navigation found in the 980 for less
- Predictable cleaning pattern make this more efficient than the older 700 and 800...
Cons:
- Short run time (just 75 minutes
- Uses the older motor found in the 800 series
- No turbo mode on carpet

iRobot Roomba e5 Review
When the robot vacuum cleaner craze kicked off, iRobot was the name at the forefront, but I haven't seen many models from the firm recently. With the iRobot Roomba e5, the company is back on form, with a solid mid-range robot that ships with a battery-powered virtual barrier system to stop the...
Pros:
- Excellent carpet cleaning
- IFTTT channel
- Brilliant connectivity
Cons:
- Additional virtual barriers are expensive
- Left deeper dirt on wooden floors

Game changer!!
This has been an absolute game changer in our home. We are a household with a golden retriever, a recently crawling infant and two parents that work full time. I was holding out on a robot vaccuum since I was skeptical that it would do a good enough job, but we realized we just couldn't keep up with...

Pros:
- We have the robot clean before we get up in the morning
- In the end you forget it's there and it simply does a great job
Cons:
- Can get tangled if you leave and wires on the floor (e.g
- PC wires) - so we have got into the habit of clearing these off the floor
- Also the robot "eats" are newspaper in the morning if it is delivered before the robot does its work.

iRobot Roomba 980 review: The home janitor just got smarter
Since the advent of smart AI-assisted speakers, the concept of smart homes has been widely adopted and even implemented around the world. The idea of leaving most household chores, even the basic ones, to a computer, has captured the imagination of people, unlike anything.

Surprisingly effective
I bought this because we have 4 cats, and vacuuming was becoming a full time job. Set up was dead easy using the App, and equally easy to change the settings to schedule when the cleaner goes about its tasks. It's noisier than I expected, but then I just set it to go when no-one's in the house.

Best purchase
The Roomba has been one of the best purchases we have made it picks up the dog hair. Lets us know when it has an issue with clear instructions and diagrams on how to fix it. Has saved us heaps of time by running when we're at work. Overall a fantastic product and well worth the money.
