While it may lack the design clout of more recent iPhones and is missing creature comforts such as an OLED display and Face ID, the iPhone SE 2020 is world-class in almost every other regard, and the fact that it can be purchased for £400 is nothing less than amazing.

The iPhone SE is a really smart phone (no pun intended) as it doesn’t have all the flashy specs and lacks the pizzaz of Android phones at this price but is still a better phone than competition. Why? Simply because no other phone will give you this level of performance in this price segment.

Overall, iPhone SE (2020) provides great value for money because you’re getting that latest iPhone internal, great camera all for a fraction of the cost of an iPhone 11.

Display and design can seem outdated at this point; Not-so-good battery stand-by; The camera has no Night Mode

We love the iPhone SE. It’s affordable, sensibly specced, and does almost everything most people need a smartphone for. The only things that really count against it are its slightly retro styling and limited battery life. It’s fairly future-proof too.

The main reason I bought this particular model is because it still has fingerprint Identification. And it’s very similar to my iPhone 8 so easier to get used to. As I’m getting on in years you don’t need half the stuff on the latest models just wanted one that did pretty much what my last one did...
