The iPhone X got all the headlines but in many ways the iPhone 8 Plus is a more appealing upgrade.
The 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus is quite similar to its predecessor 7 Plus version with the notable exception that the back side is made out of glass. Wireless charging technology based upon the Qi-standard requires a transparent material like glass in order to properly work.
The exterior of iPhone 8 Plus as well as the smaller iPhone 8 also look similar to iPhone 7 Plus' including a fingerprint scanner and a home button. It also sports a Retina-screen. The new True Tone technology, however, improves colour rendering and increases the range of colours that the phone can display.
Dual-rear 12 MP cameras mean that the new iPhone 8 takes higher-quality photos. Furthermore, recording in slow motion at a frame rate of 240 fps in 1080p is double that of iPhone 7.
The phone is powered by Apple’s A11 processor, which contains a neural system capable of face-recognition (currently only available on iPhone X). It lacks a headphone jack and is waterproof.
The operating system employed is the new iOS 11.

The iPhone X got all the headlines but in many ways the iPhone 8 Plus is a more appealing upgrade.
When Apple announced the current generation of iPhones this year, the entire event seemed to be a build up to the tenth anniversary iPhone - called the iPhone X (pronounced as iPhone Ten). The upgrades to the iPhone 7/7 Plus were announced in the form of the iPhone 8/8 Plus.
Very happy with the service! Delivered the phone in just 3 days.
I decided to get an Iphone 8 plus (moving up from a 5s) and I have no regrets. The 8 plus probably has the best battery life ive ever seen in a smart phone device. Can go an entire day of continuous use without having to charge.
Apple has few secrets left, but it did pull a fast one on us last week when it unveiled its cutting-edge, all-new flagship as "iPhone X" (pronounced "iPhone ten") and its iPhone 7 and 7 Plus upgrades as "iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
Overall, the Apple iPhone 8 has a blend of a powerful processor, classy camera, smooth operating system packed in a rather familiar design. You can also consider the iPhone 8 Plus with a larger screen and bigger battery or also wait for the iPhone X which marks the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.
Powerful A11 bionic processor; Brilliant camera; Good build quality; Fast charging and wireless charging
Design has not changed much; On the expensive side
In this long-term iPhone 8 Plus review, I'll explain what I love about the iPhone 8 Plus, what I can't stand about it and why it might be better to buy this phone than the iPhone X. No, the iPhone 8 Plus doesn't have a sleek all-display design like the iPhone X or the latest […]
Well, here we are. This year the time has come once more to cross to the dark side of the force, at least for a few days. All of us are anxiously waiting to try the brand new and (in its own way) revolutionary iPhone X, but we must not forget that Cupertino's company has also presented two other...

‘Apple iPhone'. The one word that raises eyebrows when someone asks you which phone you use. Well, it's not only the style factor; it's more of a ‘WOW! He is rich' attitude. While that isn't true for most, there are some who buy it simply because of a big brand name or to show off their wealth,...
