This iPhone offers an all-new design. It is easy to hold and use. Under the surface, you will find a strong frame that offers structural integrity. The phone fits well into your hand.

Plus, this phone offers the best specifications. Features include an A6 chip with an 8 MP iSight camera. On top of that, you get a 4-inch Retina display. The iPhone 5C is powerful and won't disappoint.

Want a phone that lasts longer? Then the iPhone 5C is a perfect choice. With 10 hours of online surfing time, you won't have to worry about charging it when you are out and about. This will allow you to use all of your favorite apps for shopping and directions.

This phone offers as many as 13 LTE bands. That is more than the competition. As a result, more users can take advantage of quick download times and fast upload speeds, no matter where they are in the world. The best part is that the number of LTE carriers in the world continues to increase. This is great for people who do a lot of traveling.

iPhone 5C features a new app that increases functionality. With this app, you can shoot images in new formats. Furthermore, select from eight filters that can be used before or after you take a picture. The instant filter can be used from the top of the Rocky Mountains. With the Chrome filter, you can improve the quality of a sunset photo.

Another highlight is its HD video. With this phone, you can record video in 1080p HD and the new zoom feature allows you to film the subject more closely. The video image stabilization helps to improve footage that is not clear. It is especially useful when filming people in action. Another new feature is face detection. Finally, you can take still photos at the same time that videos are being recorded.

This review just had to be written.

To start with, this review is probably dangerously close to sounding like a Apple hater review. Truth is, it isn't one and I own an iPad (I'm typing the review on this) so I do love Apple products. nnI'm really not going to talk about specs, screen quality etc.

iPhone 5C

The iPhone 5C is a great phone. While we wouldn't advise owners of an iPhone 5 to upgrade to the plastic model, we've found ourselves using the iPhone 5C more often than Apple's last generation flagship thanks to its slight improvement in performance, the way iOS 7 compliments its colourful casing...

Casing doesn't feel cheap and is comfortable to hold; vibrant display; iOS 7 looks great on the iPhone 5C; great performance

The 4in screen feels small; not much improvement in the battery; It's likely to divide opinions

Apple iPhone 5c review

There's no doubt about it -- the iPhone 5s is a smashing phone, but it sits in a funny place in Apple's product range. It feels very much like the iPhone 5 has been rebundled here for a specific set of customers.

iPhone 5C review

The iPhone 5C marked a new era in Apple's mobile onslaught, as the Cupertino-based firm finally broke rank from premium design and price by offering up a device which is slightly more affordable. Slightly being the key word there.

A tolerable model, will never purchase a budget iPhone again

I found that the phone is great but not hard-wearing or long-lasting. I've had mine for almost 2 years and it isn't in the best condition despite being looked after. The fact it's a cheap alternative to the other iPhone models cannot be avoided.

"Colour choice; "Good software; "Great camera

"Cheaply made; "Scratch easily

iPhone 5C

The phone feels good to hold and use. The screen resolution and the speed of the phone is nice. The memory for 8GB is an issue, but I never use the phone for playing games or use large apps, so its good for me. I ordered the blue one and the color is soothing as well. Happy with the buy.

Apple iPhone 5c in-depth review - iPhone gets a splash of colour

Last year Apple defied expectation and released the iPad mini , a dinky version of its iconic tablet which we loved thanks to its easy-to-grip-and-carry nature. This year, we expected the mobile giant to surprise us all again by unleashing a budget version of the iPhone.

Bold colours; Usual great Retina screen; App Store

Limited storage; Below average media battery life; Still quite expensive

Apple iPhone 5c (16GB/32GB)

In an alternate reality, the iPhone 5 would have followed past Apple precedent, dropping in price to $99 while a markedly more powerful iPhone 5S debuted at $199, $299, and $399 price points.

A more affordable version of 2012's iPhone 5; still packing a 4" screen; LTE cellular support; and two very good cameras; with modestly improved low-light performance on the front camera.

Plastic shells are a major downgrade from both iPhone 5's metal casing and earlier plastic enclosures developed for the iPhone 3GS; with mostly stale color options; and no trace of metallic sparkle.

iPhone 5c review

We never expected Apple to build a cheap anything and the 5c is testament to that. Launching a phone to appeal to a wider demographic is a brave move, especially when you're considered a premium brand.

Colourful chassis; iOS 7 looks incredible; Improved battery life

Price-tag compared to rivals; Smaller screen than rivals

Apple iPhone 5C review: The colorful, very capable low-cost iPhone

Editors' note (September 19, 2014): The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now the flagship phones in Apple's 2014-2015 product line. However, in addition to the iPhone 5S, Apple is also still sellingthe iPhone 5C -- but only in a single 8GB capacity, down from its original 16GB and 32GB models. It's priced at $450 in the US ("free" with a 2-year contract), £319 in the UK, and AU$529 in Australia. If you can't find an older 16GB or higher model available for sale, the paltry 8GB capacity makes this 2014 update of the 5C tougher to recommend.

The iPhone 5C is a great $99 phone that basically replicates the well-reviewed iPhone 5 in a more colorful case.

The iPhone 5C is available for $99 or less on contract, and in five bright colors. Compared with the 2012 iPhone 5, it’s got more widely compatible global LTE coverage, an upgraded front-facing camera, and slightly better battery life.

This phone is 2012 tech dressed up in a brighter package for 2013; the four-inch Retina Display feels small compared with most Android phones.
